Our solutions power content for the Premier League, Cricket Australia, Wimbledon, the PGA, The Masters, international Rugby Union including the All Blacks and Wallabies, UFC, Racing.com, the National Basketball League, and more.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Full stack engineering experience, comfortable with front-end and back-end engineering needs.
- Expertise in Javascript and related frameworks, preferably React.js for front-end, Node.js, and another popular language for back-end/server-side, but a strong appreciation for the speed of low or no-code approaches.
- Experience in service-driven architectures, including micro-services, is essential.
- Deep awareness of the AWS product offer and demonstrable skills leveraging the services available on that cloud platform or others.
- Solution-focused (Design / Architecture).
- Assist CTO, Technical Architect, Product Director, business stakeholders, and technical development teams to design and deliver experiments and prototypes.
- Make smart decisions on the fastest way to stand-up prototypes using varied technologies.
- Review and collaborate with the Product Director on stories and acceptance criteria to deliver experiments and prototypes in successive iterations.
- Work closely with Product Director and technical team in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of experiments.
- Solve performance problems and technical challenges when necessary.
- Contribute to the team strategy and planning, setting, and development of the experimentation roadmap.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github.
- Experience and/or knowledge of video technologies, streaming, OTT media, AI/ML, data manipulation, and sports technology is advantageous.
- An ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a less-structured engineering environment with an ability to think outside the box.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or relevant qualifications.

Location: Melbourne is a strong preference, however, will consider candidates in other Australian locations. We currently operate under a hybrid in-office/work-from-home work model.
